But why would they waist this design on a hatchback, pleast tell me that they would consider a sedan version.

Besides the grill, it reminds me of an Acura

funny they refer to th "300" platform but thats an old MB e-class platform.

Overall a nice concept. Looks a bit like the Audi Roadjet concept from last year, or at least similar type of vehicle. Also, the Chrysler 300 only uses the MB E class (last generation) rear suspension and is quite different actually.

Just like majority of concepts, they tend to look better than they really are. That's a given. I personally don't like the hatchback rear end. If it was to have any success then a proper trunk should be put in place. The front end looks alright but it does look Acura-ish. The interior's unique but will never be put to production because just look at the interiors of today's Chryslers. IMO Rubbish. I'm a fan of the 300C & 300C SRT8 but the interior needs lots of work. For example the new Aspen gives the appearance of a full size luxury SUV but when you look at it's interior it surely disappoints. That goes for the new Sebring as well. MB needs to fund Chrysler more and find better quality parts. I feel they have a need to compete against the likes of Cadillac and even Lincoln in the domestic luxury market. Just my two cents.

Am I alone in thinking that the designers from Chrysler need to be fired? What car is this thing supposed to compete with? Is it a hatchback or a sedan? It's no wonder why the Chrysler division is going down the drain.

That's what I say about the jokers that have designed the 2 new Acura SUV'S.

Yes, it will turn my head away from it and something that someone took some time to design and not cut and paste it onto an aging platform.

Chrysler is in big trouble if they continue down this road.

Alot of Japanese influence on this design, especially from the Acura.

even though it's the last generation suspension, it's still built like a tank. i drove an 1992 E Class over the summer and can tell you it felt like i was riding in a tank, almost never felt the bumps on the road, the suspension is quite good! have ridden in the new E-class as well, and yes they do feel different, the new one like you're floating on a cloud, but the old E-class suspension was way ahead of it's time.

They need to fix it from the front doors back. Front half looks good. Back half not so much so.
