The best color combination yet for the Porsche 911? Photo Gallery
I stopped by my local Porsche dealer (Pioneer Porsche)to visit with my salesman Chris Huck.

Not only is Chris very helpful and polite, he could be the most knowledgable Porsche Salesman outside of Stuttgart.

But what caught my eye as soon as I walked in the door, was probably the prettiest 911 I've ever seen.

It was the new C4S Targa finished in the new color for 2007, Meteor Gray over Natural Brown full leather interior.

Talk about stunning!

Although it does not look that different than the Seal Gray in photos, it has a much nicer and larger metallic flake in the paint. It gives the car more depth and it looks much more expensive.

And NOTHING beats the richness of the Natural Brown full leather.

It's the one choice in my opinion that is worth the extra money and will hold its resale value.

If you haven't seen one like it yet, you'll probably see one at the upcoming auto shows.

5,000 for paint and 5,000 for the extra leather. I bet this is over 100,000.

The color upgrade is just standard metallic upcharge which I think is $795 and the leather is just under $5k.

This one also had a lot of extra options which brought the price to $114k.

That sucks, becasue when time comes to sell it, it's a 95k car, not a 114k car.

No wonder Porsche is making big bucks.

Nice.....But what makes Meteor Gray different than the other 15 grays Porsche offeres that all look the same when they drive by you?
That leather is snazzy, but I think they should have made the dash a tone darker than the seats.

Actually, the ELS dvd audio system in the TL is excellent, provided you have a dvd audio disk. The THX in the Zephyr is supposed to be good too.

Now I want a 911.

You know in LA the police had the emergency phone number "911" on the side of their squad cars, but they had to remove the numbers because illegal aliens were stealing the cars because they thought they were Nine Elevens.

I would think it would be incredibly sad if anyone in their right mind mistaked a Ford Crown Victoria for a Porsche 911 Carrera. ;)

Nice color combo, but every Targa I've ridden in has a distinct rattle coming from the roof area.

I would take a plain coupe over a Targa any day.

I am a Porsche enthusiast but will they please stop with the freaking silver/gray cars already. Its not like every other car on the road is not silver/gray now. Everything from little cars to gigantic SUV's. Such a blah world with everything fading into the backgroud.

I say you order this bad boy in Speed Yellow or Guards Red or better yet - YOU PICK the color and pay the 4K. I would it, its worth it.

I have a '06 997s with the Seal Gray exterior, and the 2 tone gray interior with the black dash with gray lower portion, all covered in leather. I have sat in a 911 with the natural brown interior, and I do have to say it is pretty, I just don't think that brown and gray go together that well. What I wish I had done, and probably will do when I order my turbo here in a year or so will go the custom leather color route, and get a red leather simialr to the Imola red leather offered in the BMW M3. I would get that done in 2 tone with black again on the top portion of the dash. I will say this though, it really doesn't matter what color interior you get, you forget about it the moment you stand on the gas and experience the acceleration that these cars generate. That combined with the sound of the engine makes you forget about all the things your 90k+ didn't get you like bluetooth, and iPod connectivity.

What color are the gauges?...they look natural brown.

This 911's color combination reminds me of driving thru St. George, Utah and all the different colors of the giant rock formations.

I just built a 911 in Carrara White with the Black and Terracotta interior with the Terracotta instruments and I would buy that color combination.
