As far as I know, the Astra will be debuted in Chicago, not Detroit.

Also, Audi will have a very heavy diesel presence at the show this year, including a Q7 TDI that will be available in the US.

in the pic of the toyota new sports concept above, the front end doesn't look as bad as in the other thread's profile shot.

camera angle can make or break a photo.

i have photographed cars. not as simple as most people think.

different angles give completely different perspectives. one needs to keep in mind, on the street most cars are seen from STANDING of sitting height. not a big factor with most sedans and trucks.

but with LOW SLUNG sporty cars, a dog's eye view is NOT the way most people will see the car.

and at the same time, sketches by stylists are ALSO from a lower perspective than a standing person's. which is why clay models are often made to see how a car "really looks" in 3-D.
