Lincoln MK-R Concept - Preview & Gallery
Lincoln shows off the future of the brand's design direction with the new MK-R Concept, set to debut at the 2007 NAIAS. Though the concept will not see production, one of the most important things to take from this concept is the new "Twinforce" 3.5-liter twin-turbo direct-injection V6 which produces 415hp and 400 lb.-ft of torque. This new Twinforce WILL see production in some of the future Ford products.

Yet another excellent concept from Lincoln. Too bad it's just going to be watered down into unrecognizable and unsellable form for production. Thanks Ford/Lincoln management! I feel bad for the Lincoln designers who continue to develop very cool designs only to see management pick them apart until they reach the proper level of blandness.

Excellent point, Lincoln has had great concepts before and they let the best ones just disappear.

I like the design of this one especially the aggressive and impractical front-end.

The cabin design is a little too minimalist, causing the interior to lose a bit of that sybaritic feel.

Not a bad concept but I am sure the Twinforce won't be making 415 hp and 400 lb-ft torque in the production version.
