VIDEO: New BMW X5 takes on 'The Ring' or as some call it, 'The Green Hell'

Hmm, not really a video of the X5 at the 'ring is it.

I thought we were going to see the car actually go around the track. A good look at the track, though.

The Ring Taxi part is pretty decent. I saw the X5 commerical today. The X5 so far looks pretty good in the pictures, but that shifter has to go, absolutely horrible.

It's actually really easy to use and functional, if not the prettiest thing on earth.

Chewy, I agree, the Prius shifter has to go. As for the 'Ring vids, pretty cool. I thought it might be an ad for the new M3 when I saw it on TV the first time.

i test drve the x5. the shifter is fine. saves a lot of room. and somewhat nicer than the steering mounted column in the 7.

saves a lot of room...for what? cupholders?

I just saw the commercial again. BMW is really lame as they use sped up video. What lameos.
