Yeah… it’s favorite course is dining on Porsches.

Sheer power….it smoked the Cayenne Turbo S and it sells for about the same price as the prev gen BMW X5 4.8is. That undercuts the Porsche by a whopping $40K. Yikes!

They had a silver one on my dealer’s showroom and 2 things immediately struck me. The 20 inch wheels complement the car just right, without overwhelming it. Just the right amount of bling. Also, the nappa and alcantra interior with AMG touches surpass the quality of the new S550 interior. IMO.

The SUV has an imposing muscular stance that an E63 wagon could never express. In black it would positively look menacing. The ML63 looks like it’s also made to be in a rap video. LOL!

I’m dying to see what BMW would come up to counter it.

There hasn’t been any news at the moment regarding a super-sport X5….or maybe X6.

But, I would strongly doubt BMW won’t eventually come up with their version of the 500+ HP SUV.

Maybe they’ll retune the current M V10…or maybe a twin turbo 4.8L, or maybe a V12.

Think of the possibilities.

I've driven the Cayenne Turbo (not the S) and the ML 63 and even though the Porsche felt a little faster the ML is soooo much a better truck. It looks menacing...feels men...I love it.
I can't afford it right now but I love it.
They've got a black and a silver one at Orland Park Mercedes in Orland Park, Illinois.
