SPY PHOTOS: Mazda2 Sedan and Wagon

The little compact five door five seater Mazda2 came on the market in 2002 as a replacement for the Demio. It is based on the Ford Fiesta which received a facelift in 2005. Engines are mounted transversely and the car is front driven.

Now the Japanese car maker is preparing an all new successor for launch in April 2007 and according to the prototype shots, also a compact wagon version for the world market.

Outside of Japan the current Mazda2 was sold as sedan only, while a wagon version named “Verisa” is being sold just in Japan and offer four wheel drive as an option.

Ugly doesn't have an 'E' in it. I say this because you also called the new Town and Country Egly.

Although, because of this car's shape, the words 'Egg' and 'Ugly' can be joined together to make a word that describes this car.

this car is ugly by US standards but i was in India a few days ago and this is how almost half of the cars look like. It may be sucessful in the world market, but would fail in the US
