What do you call a Cadillac BLS with 18" rims, lowered suspension and chassis tune dialed in for sport touring?

I call it POS chevy cobalt SS with leather !!!!!

I look at a picture of this BLS, and no wonder it hasn't sold much. It is ugly. Doesn't really look like a cadillac.

Cadillac was warned about trying to compete with the established European marks and that it had better be really, really good. GM cannot get any decent steering feel with their American offerings. What makes them think they can get that over there? If they want to re-establish Cadillac as "The Standard of the World", they will need to break away from GM's (not engineered very well)parts bin. This of course will require a huge investment that, financially strapped, GM will not and cannot do. But isn't that the biggest problem with GM anyway? Substandard engineering and cheap parts = crappy cars. This is for as long as I can remember. GM and Cadillac have done this to themselves and they deserve being embarrassed with the BLS in Europe! Can you say STUPID and BANKRUPTSY in the same sentence?

Just to says the bls is better than anything from Japan really show how mature and bias you're. If the big three car are so good, "NOT", why are they close to running out of business?

Japan make way better car than the Big three both in designing and realiability dept. That why Ford new CEO when over to Japan to learn from the world best master. Hey I did not says that, Ford new CEO says so himself, unless he lie and try to kiss TOYOTA CEO A$$. What do you think?

Good first crack, but GM had better come to play correctly int this market. Perhaps the next gen CTS will be a good foundation to start from for the BLS redesign

the design of this car doesnt reeally look this bad. I went to the caddy showroom from like a month when i bought a new SRX and i saw the BLS. Doesnt look bad but sells terrible. That without mentioning the very hight price for this kind of car. typical GM, i feel sorry for them...

This is a weak effort. Why not just the 9-3? That at least has presence in Europe. They haven't ever had Cadillacs over there, to my knowledge.

i think the Seville from the 90s was imported in RHD. not a huge seller, 4.6 v8 cars of an unknown brand don't sell very well.
but no, the CTS was the first official import, with a dealer service. we now get the CTS RHD, XLR LHD, SRX LHD. thing is, the xlr costs the same as 650 convertible here. the srx costs very similar to the discovery, and has no diesel. as well, if people want a bit of americana, they buy a jeep. has lots of prescence here, the grand cherokee is an ml/x5/discovery rival.
