Mitsubishi Prototype X Unveiled - 2008 EVO X on the way

Mitsubishi has unveiled its new Prototype X, which is the concept version of the upcoming 2008 Lancer Evolution X. Sketches of the car were first shown back in early December. The Mitsubishi Prototype X has a 2.0 liter turbocharged engine that produces a surprising 300 horsepower and has a 5-speed manual or sequential-manual gearbox.

They watered it down, as I thought they would. This is just one example of why Mitsubishi has a hard time gaining traction in the U.S. market.

Is this a joke?... or is Mitsubishi disappointed they didn’t make the AutoSpies Blacklist? If that’s the case, I think they’ve got it covered for next year’s awards. Certainly a worthy contender.

That is weird on that website you get pics of both versions. The front version with the halogen lights is the regular one. Check edmunds here to see the real one with all the Evo X pics.
