Infiniti Plans G Coupe, Small Crossover for N.Y. show

Infiniti, the luxury brand of Nissan Motor Co. Ltd., said today that it will introduce the next generation of its G coupe at the New York auto show and released a sketch of the car. Infiniti said it also will unveil a small crossover at the show.

Press days for the New York auto show are April 4-5.

The arrival of the Infiniti coupe follows the introduction in October of the redesigned G35 sedan. The G coupe will go on sale this year.

This is not a photochop but an actual sketch of the next-gen 08 Infiniti G SportCoupe. The character line below the beltline will be copied by numerous automakers just like the character line of the 2002-2006 Nissan Altima,which is seen even on certain minivans now. Beautiful art in motion! The baby FX will indeed get major attention due to next-gen FX moving up in size and passenger seating (room for 7.)
