Nissan Launches Fairlady Z & Fairlady Z NISMO

The Nissan Fairlady Z features the new VQ35HR engine and 80% of the parts from the original Z redesigned to increase performance. There is also a Fairlady Z Roadster with a new gray top color. While Fairlady Z may not be a strong and manly name, Nissan in collaboration with Autech Japan have made a higher-end performance version of the Fairlady Z called the Nissan Fairlady Z Version NISMO. The Nissan Fairlady Z Version NISMO has a 3.8 liter V6 HR-Series engine that produces 395 horsepower. Check out the press release below for more.

First of all the Fair lady Z is no difference from a 350Z. What Nismo offer as far as acessories, is basic upgrade. Cams, piston ,air intake ,suspension, and wheels. All of these which will not void warranty. The litre size is the same 3.5 VQHR motor that is already in the 2007 G35 and just release 2007 350Z. Again horsepower rating for JDM 350Z or Skyline is 315 but because of SAE testing formula ours have 306 horses. Other than apperance pkg.,suspension, and few nismo upgrade. It is almost certain that they cannot be producing 395 horses. Autec of japan are well known for apperance pakaging alot of nissan in Japan. But unless they bored the engine, and added a turbo or supercharger. All of which will void warranty of course. I dont see itt happening.
