Toyota May Add Five Plants in North America

Toyota Motor Corp., struggling to meet U.S. demand and facing a possible political backlash over its imports from Japan, may build as many as five North American assembly plants in the next 10 years, according to people familiar with the plans.

The Japanese automaker will build at least one factory in the southeastern United States and one in Mexico, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the company hasn't discussed the matter publicly.

Is it cheaper to build plants in USA than to build in Canada, EU or Asia?
Soo China's gonna be biggest automarket in the world, then will come India. So I believe it's better to build new plants in China.
On the other side it's not a surprise because soo Toyota is gonna be first automaker in the world, and Big 3 will get smaller and smaller...

#3. If they do make a plant in Mexico, I will laugh at them. That's the entire reason why VW's reliability in America is subpar.
