Video: What Was It Like To Run On The Nurburgring "In The Good Old Days"

Ever listen to a seasoned motor head recanting stories of old, quoting fondly "back in the good old days". This video may shed some real light on what is was like to run on the famous Nurburgring "back in the good old days". Looks like to us memories are fonder than reality, and that maybe a garden variety Civic could post better times.

Great video. The wrecks today are much more spectacular! The first time I was there, I saw two people walk away nearly unscathed after they flipped a 520i.

I put in some laps that would probably better most of these jackles in a A140 diesel!

That was awesome! =D
The parts I liked were when that one motorcycle guy came in way too hot and the part where one Beetle driver got tossed out the door. And the countless times the people are there to roll the cars back over. ROFL
