MDalle, you have to think of who buys the C-Class and it's not the same people that buy the IS350.

The MB is for adults and the Lexus is for those that are kids.

Good looking car, but something is missing. I almost find the outgoing model (especially in Sport) to be more aggressive.
Tail light look like the old Acura CL.

yeah, i agree with MDalle, i think this class looks very boring and dull, it is a major upgrade from the current generation C-class, but it is nothing that exciting..i'd still prefer a 335i Coupe' over that..lets hope its just the pictures.

Am I the only one to find the steering wheel strange looking?

I like it. And I really expected to not like it. Still too many buttons on the dash and I'm not a fan of pop up nav, but it looks like a big step up inside and out from the previous generation.

the side view of the black car looks very Audi-esque. Anyone else notice that?

the mercedes 3 point star in the grill looks much better there is a lot of competition for the 3 series, so many good looking cars.

This has to be the first time i've liked a C-Class, they've really done a lot to tighten up the look on the outside (noticed they gave it the same angular grill the E-Class refresh has), the rear lights are also a lot better stated.

Though I agree with some of the above posts, the steering wheel looks a little awkward, it's lines are a little too harsh compared to the rest of the interior.

The C class is a cleaner design from the S.

The exterior is nice but nothing special. The interior doesn't look that good at all.

So far as I can tell it looks great. Seems like MB is kind of following Audi in that all there models are starting to look alike.

In australia and a few other countries the C-Class has a C180 & C200 Kompressor variants. However, when the W203 style was introduced it only came in the C180 & C200 (wihtout the supercharger as standard). does anybody else know whether it will be like the W203, the kompressor version for the C180 & C200 is released a few years after or will mercedes-benz keep kompressors as standard for the C180 & C200? I know its obviously a bit hard until it is released to know that.

I think these pictures could be fake! All Mercedes-Benz current sedans have the badge which stays up. however this model has it in the grille, and in the first picture it isn't there, but then it re-appears on the AMG variant. Does this mean these pictures are -

It looks great, not really my style, but looks good. The entry level segment is really heating up.

This looks really good! bmwfan- the C-Class luxury model will have the three-pointed star as a hood ornament (standing), but the sport model will have the emblem inside the grille. That's my guess by these pictures, at least. Notice how the first picture has it standing on top of the grille.

There are plenty of Mercedes's following this trend. CLS, CL, CLK, SLK, ML, GL... the only ones I can think of with the star as an ornament any more are the E and S.

The interior isn't as nice as I'd hoped, however. A4 and IS interiors are still better. There's a huge disparity between the elegance of the S-Class's interior and the industrialized look of the C's. The A4 and IS, however, almost retain the elegance of their full-size luxury sedan bretheren.

my cousins ordering one when the ordering form comes out, C350 Sport in black with black leather. it'll look pretty cool when he gets it.

This may be the new E -Class...take a look at 3rd pic from the right. I may be going blind but.....

Regardless, If MB rolls this out, they will have a new presence in the market that may encroach on the 3 and Lex...I....S.......I can't say it.

The C-Class already sells better than the IS- it's the third-best-selling car in this class, behind the 3 Series and A4.

Oh and, the E-Class thing has already been mentioned. The E was just freshened- this is not it. It's too small, and the interior isn't nice enough for the E. The pics are just blurry.

it came out as i tought, its pretty nice i guess, but it looks a little boring except the white one, which i think is a AMG. but the interior looks really cheap and ugly and whats up with that steering wheel. i mean come on.

Did Lexus buy Mercedes?
