HOT! Spies get re-freshed 2008 BMW 5-series confidential dealer guide

The dealer let me look at this on Saturday when I picked up the demo E70. There was also a press release that had some cool stuff in it, but I can't say!

Boring...........this must one of the ugliest car BMW ever design. They did the 650i and 335i right, why not the 5-series?

I think the 5 Series is one of those cars that I subconsciously think is ugly, but I admire.

I like it now, had a long period of thinking about it though.

It's just so intriguing. Not ugly, just different. Proportionally it is perfect, I think the weird headlights throw people off.

Well if kinky headlights are a big problem, then I suggest you re-evaluate yourself.

I'm sorry but a 5-series doesn't demand respect, it's presence isn't pronounced like that of a 7er or 6er.

The 5-series without M packaging in fact looks pretty weak as opposed to the muscular looks of the 6, 7 & even 3-series. Plus the head/taillights make the 5er look cheaper than it actually is, & not to mention pure Japanese. I'm big on class...an E-Class classy, a 5-series, kids & teenagers might think it's cool...catch my drift?

Like I’ve said before, this is one BMW I’m waiting to vanish into history...or should I say scrapyard.
