Bling or Butcher Job You Decide: Lexus LS460 Popular Blank Canvas At Tokyo Auto Salon
You can be sure Toyota never meant it this way, but Japan’s tuners and aftermarket specialists were all over the new Lexus LS460 at this year’s Tokyo Auto Salon.

This lowdown LS special, kitted out with big, shiny Cuervo wheels was one of many LS models littering the show floor, and is the work of Osaka wheel/body/interior specialist Fledermaus.

Not bad. The headlights are still boring and it could use a bodykit, but I like the rims. They're not too loud.

Wait, maybe this is the LSF, it looks similar to the ISF.

J/K, It still looks awful though.

hahahaha, thats acutally pretty funny. it looks nice and evrything, but the rims are just so ugly. way to ruin the car.

you know what, when lexus makes its next concept, they should put a mercedes logo on it for like its debult and see what people say. i bet everybody will be like, dang thats so nice and beautiful. then put the lexus logo back on it and you'll see everybody saying. hmmmmmmm never mind, now that i take a good look at it, it looks very bland and boring. the funny thing is that you guys know this, lol.

First it was the lowered Honda, now it's the lowered Lexus.

How to take a good car and turn it into a rap mobile is 5 easy steps.

Step 1

Install an exhaust system that does add to perfomance, but makes your car sound like a scooter with an exhaust leak.

Should be: "does not add to performance"

Trust me Bling does not equal performance.

This LS, and the A8, remind me a lot of their previously not-blingy German competitiors.

The A8 reminds me a lot of the last-generation 7 Series in its performance aspirations, supremely well-crafted interior (though the A8's is a lot more stylish), and sleek, athletic styling. The new 7 Series is a lot chubbier- and not just stylng-wise, either.

The LS is a lot like the W220 S-Class. They're both subdued and elegant. Although I prefer the more traditional lines of the S-Class, there's an undeniable reminder of it when you see the LS460. They're also both about pillow-soft rides, the latest technology and powerful engines.

Just my observations.
