C-Class unveiling live on the Internet

The countdown has began for the world premiere of the new C-Class in the Mercedes World in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim. The press conference, which will be attended by some 600 journalists from around the world on 18th January 2007 can be seen live on the internet from 7:00 to 7:40pm (CET)

this is a big moment for Mercedes, the c-class has been the main weak link versus BMW, and a lot of new potential customers in China and India will compare the C-class with the 3 series.

I agree, Gogo. Mercedes shouldn't go after the 3- they wouldn't win. The C-Class is a luxury sedan, the 3 Series is a sports sedan.

I've always loved the C-Class, but this new re-fresh is much needed to fight the competition. I know that the 3-series is the king of this segment, but lets not forget about our Japanese rivals (Lexus IS and Infiniti G35). Let's hope this new C class will show those brands up.

yes, people that are looking for a mustang don't go into a Mercedes dealership, for the most part. In defense of the mustang a hot car even in base trim, a hard to beat value.
