I had as far as I know 25 relatives that fought in the Civil War for President Lincoln and the Union against the Confederates.

My parents moved to OC when I was about a year old and I love it.

I live in Orange County in Southern California, just south of Los Angeles.

Disneyland is in OC in a city called Anaheim and right across Katella Ave. is where the OC Auto Show happens and today is the final day of the winter NAMM show which is the trade show for the musical instruments industry and I've been to 20 NAMM shows and I've met hundreds of rock and TV stars. BTW, the NAMM show is 3 times bigger than any auto show when it comes to floor space.

Watch this video of a home for sale in OC in a city called Corona Del Mar Spyglass by my friend John McMonigle. The home is on the market for $75 million dollars.

that is a cute house! (cute is a stupid word i know but it really is).
5 miles? i'm about 3 miles from ferrari, bentley, rolls, maserati, jag, land rover etc. and i live in one very expensive suburb so it's not like upmarket cars aren't common. also i live 50 metres from a porsche dealership.

I also live two towns from an Aston Martin/Ferrari/Maserati/Lamborghini dealership (Lake Forest Sports Cars), and I have a friend who got her $120,000 Quattroporte from there. Oh, yes, I almost forgot, the real estate market is booming- I'm buying a $217,000,000 house myself. Cheerio.

Just looking at it I would say a million or more and with that much land I would say 1.3 million dollars.

With an ocean view 2.3 million dollars.

a 5 bed suburban house in the right area sells for that here!
and that house is 800000 dollars! oh my god that's so cheap! you wouldn't get a 3 bed semi where i live for that!
my god if i moved to the us i'd be so rich....my house is nothing special at all, 4 beds, no off street parking, suburban road, it's worth about 1.8 million dollars...house prices here are kinda high.

It's actually cheaper there than it is here. It's $1.8 million, with some room for breathing, because the builder is desparate- market isn't so hot right now. It would go for over $2 million in a good year.

Ah Yes, Updown Court. As I recall it has been on the market for some time [perhaps a year] and has been the most expensive property for sale on the planet over the same period. Although as I recall from Forbes, it was orginially priced near $167 million.

You know, now I am not so sure. I recall Forbes said that it had 107 rooms and that your neighbors would be the Queen and Elton John [a very different manner of queen]. At least I think I'm funny.

...and now on to the topic...although I am not so sure what the exact point of the post is. I do love Aston Martin; understated and classy, unlike Ferrari which is just too obnoxious for me [look at the colors you see them in]
