No silly, this is LAmborghini going back to its roots.

Lamborghini started as a tractor manufacture.

Sports cars came later.

BTW, during WWII, Mitsubishi built the Japanese Zero, the fighter American fighters routinely shot down!

First off, it's the P-51. Second, the American P-51s were using Packard-built Merlins: not that it really matters. Second, the Zero was not flimsy because of them "thinking less of the Americans", it was flimsy because they made them out of wood. Materials are scarce when you live on an island.

MDalle, at the beginning of WWII America was run by a bunch of anti-military Democrats in the Senate, Congress and the President, but the airplane manufacturers had the designs all ready to and were fully tested, just waiting for the OK to build them.

The Zero was built for handling and like all Japanese planes they had hardly no armor, but American planes did and could take lots of hits.

When the P-51 and Hellcat came out the Zero was no match.

In fact, the madien flight for the Mustang was October 26 1940 and the Hellcat first flew on June 26 1942.
