he;s right...this car isn't in the same league as ferrari or lambo. It is an R8, M6, etc competitor. The title to this post is ridiculous.

You know when a car has no heritage or offspring like the Lexus then you get a futuristic design straight out of the Disney design center in Burbank, Calif.

Did Agent 001 design this car or is he just being paid by Lexus's marketing arm?

But you got to think, Lexus is really Toyota, who does have a presence in F1. Although none of their cars have shown ferrari like handling or performance to this point, I was really expecting this car to be the next Supra, which I think would be logical. However, I have to agree that for this car to reach the level of Lambo or Ferrari would be stretching it, Acura NSX maybe, but not a ferrari. Wait for it to come out, then put it up against ferrari then we shall see i guess

The look just doesn't look right. I really hope the actual production car will look much more attractive and less "striking".

Before finalizing the styling of the production car, Toyota should take a good look at true beauties such as the Ferrari F430, 599GTB, Lambo Gallardo, Aston Martin Vanquish, DB9, and Vantage.

This car is going to be the car that once the first few are sold, will sit in the dealer showroom for a year and a half before it is sold.

What a shame, and another shame that this car will be wallpaper on some little 8 year old's desktop.

For those Lexus suckers out there, get this: a plain cup cake, 50 cents, put some icing on it, 85 cents. Toyota = plain, Lexus= Toyota w/ icing suckers!!! For those Lexus bigots bashing other brands and bragging the “quality” of Sucxus, I got news for you: Toyota has been recalling millions of cars in the past year!!! So much for “quality” my behind! If you compare the interior design of the new S-class and the new Sucxus LS, the S in years ahead while the LS still stuck with old wood trim design reminiscent of the ‘80s for old geezers!!! ROFLOL!!

Nice! Should give some interior shots, Agent001.

At the days German automakers putting more and more ugly cars, this revised LF-A looks just stunning!

500+hp, 9000 rpm, 4.8L v10, carbon fiber frame... weights ~2600lbs... all for a Walmart price.

dude it's a concept and won't weigh 2600 lbs, unless it costs $250,000...the F430 doesn't weigh that. You Lexus morons really are retarded...you'll say anything to try to make your brand the life of the party, but they always come up short.

how bout that EVO costs over $100k and only kept up with the Lambo in the corners due to a nimble suspension. I would take that EVO over the LF-A any day of the week.

I agree, Ferrari and Lamborghini should be shaking in their boots. This car is gonna have the best SDHOTMMG-AWD, All in one PSP-PS3-XBOX, CDWAS Traction Control, WTFIBM Cameria, DKHTGH-GPS, and DKHTUBBC-Stability Control than any Ferrari or Lamborghini ever had. Oh, don't forget the optional WMA (Wipe My Ass)mode when you $h!t on yourself after your car almost hits that Lamborghini behind you while it's parking itself.

How can anyone even say anything bad about this car!!! It hasnt even been released yet! It seems like all the benz and bmw enthusists arent going to give lexus anything in the fight for Luxury performance. I think it is absolutely hilarious that everyone bashes the IS-F and thr LF-A when both arent out yet. No one has driven either car here. If other auto makers wont face that fact that Lexus in the race to be at the top well then I gotta feeling its gonna be a dog fight all the way to the end. And I dont see the end it sight. By the way. Bmw only has performance. Wheres the interior going? Same interior different car. Same Sh*t different toilet.

I don't think Ferrari and Lambo will be flustered, they've got their own hyper-cachet.

The companies that will be hurt would be the Germans. They might not be outsold in raw numbers but, the Lexus will eat into their market share - especially in Japan and the US which are the biggest markets for luxury sports cars. Porsche in particular will be affected as Porsches are SO common.

Youve also gotta think about who rules the tuner market. Im my opinion, its the Japanese. They still have some of the fastest cars on the planet. So youve gotta think. 500hp for the first go around for Lexus. They have much much more up their sleeves.

Shake your head Agent Man...Lexus has all of the heritage of a Timex compared to the lustre and prestige of Ferrari and Lambo. I am sure there are those out there that will buy this vehicle - but current 'real' exotic owners will not bat an eye at an all new Japanese vehicle. Not on their radar...@ $150k would YOU rather drive a Toyota derivative or a Bentley, Aston Martin, Ford GT, etc? Get real.

If this car has the same performance as Lambo's and Ferrari's and cost a lot less, still doesn't mean that Lambourghini and Ferrari should be worried. If that was the case, they'd be worried about the Corvette. I think Ferrari owners and Lambo owners want those cars because of heritage and not to mention the styling. And also everyone has their own personal preference.

I dont think Ferrari and Lamborghini should fear this car at all. It looks amazing but it has no heritage like Ferrari and Lamborghini does. A Lexus supercar? sure it looks the part. If the price was the same as a Euro supercar I don't many people will buy it. This potential LF-A F car will most likely compete against the SL, and R8. Lucky for both Merc and Audi, they have the pedigree to build supercars(SL65/SLR | V10 engine/Audi-Lamborghini partnership). Lexus is on its own and it's trying to compete against the bad boys from Europe.

This car looks stunning but I think it will just replace the outdated SC430 and perhaps be a new revived replacement for the Toyota Supra. A combination of the two gives Lexus all the more reason to make a car like this. They need a luxury/sports car. Combine the Supra and an SC into a newly designed car and you get the LF-A F

Lexus is mass-market luxury.
Lamborghini and Ferrari are super rare exotics.
Lexus are boring to drive in general.
Lamborghini and Ferrari are the most fun to drive.
Lamborghini and Ferrari have the best designs in exotics period.
LF-A looks like an IS that tries to copy Lambo.

If I had $300,000 to spend on a car, I would never choose Lexus over Ferrari or Lambo.
Italian cars have a name cache that NO ONE can ever beat in prestige and name value.
