Special Luminescent Paintwork on the Smart Fortwo

Special Luminescent Paintwork on the Smart Fortwo
Before the new smart fortwo is launched on the market in April 2007, the master class of the internationally renowned photo artist Katharina Sieverding will work on a unique project: The master students Friederike Hamann and Moritz Hirsch will turn the penultimate car of the current smart fortwo series into a phosphorescent light object.

After its completion, the smart fortwo will be staged and photographed in urban spaces as a rolling work of art. The highlight of the project is the exclusive three-day exhibition of the vehicle and the documentary photo strip at Galerie Viaux in Berlin from 08 - 11 March 2007. The pictures can be purchased and the proceeds will go to charity.

Luminicent did not work as a novelty for condoms so it will not work for the Smart car.

Gas and diesel Smart cars and Hybrids are a copout, the still run on fossil fuels.

Will wait for the electric Smart car.

Hideous!

We don't need the Smart car at all. Dumb. Give me an A3 any day.

I've followed the Smart company for a while. I personally like them. They've very unique and have their own personality, especially the Crossblade. Personally, though, I wish they would've have continued making, and brought the Smart Roadster here. I remember when Brabus took one and turned it into a twin-turbo V6 monstrosity. Now that...was entertaining.

I think the novelty of these $hitboxes is waning because it's taken them so long to get here.

What's the appeal, anyway?
