SPY PHOTOS: New Mercedes E-class
Still over two years away, our spies have garnered details on the next all-new Mercedes E?class, code-named W212 and due at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. Mercedes will abandon SBC in favour of conventional brakes, although they will boast features such as wet-weather disc wiping and wheel-selective cornering brake control. Optional ceramic-composite discs could be introduced top-down, starting with the AMG models.

Nice Lexus tail-lights! Probably missing the lense cover to mess with the spy photogs. Not a huge suprise here. Looks much like a larger version of the new C-class with a 4 head-light array.

Look again and you'll notice a taillight structure
that is reminescient of the 1980's E300.

Bangled.. haha

Anyway, it looks to me as if the CGI graphic is pretty close to what the car will look like when released.

Like you can see through two to three layers of camouflage.

I think it is nice, not drastic...lines remind me of the S/Maybach...very tasteful.

MB isn't trying to redefine every model, that is not their business plan. They are not targeting young people like Honda, who makes drastic model changes to redefine their image. MB ha sa great image, like porsche...timeless and classy

I was hoping that, although I do like their extravagant new style (except the new C-Class), they'd keep the E elegant and traditional. Sadly, I'm wrong.

There just seems to be something so "right" about the current model. Lap them up before they go away!

You can't come to any rational conclusions with these pictures. They are getting to good with this camo stuff.

I think the new E-class will be a blend of the S class and the C-class. It's the new look MB is trying to bring to the table.

Profile looks awesome, but still hard to tell much. Like Michael Jackson, the Germans really know how to disguise their baby’s out in public.

The next E-Class will be one beautiful car.
Just like all Mercs.
Cannot wait for the finished product!
