Video: CNN Reports on Maybach’s 8 Million Dollar Car

CNN decided to see what all the fuss was about with the Maybach Exelero, the company’s hand-built 8 million dollar car. They gave a great look at the inside of the car and took it around California where it turned a lot of heads. They Maybach Exelero has a bi-turbo V12 engine that pushes 700 horsepower. That engine gives the car to do 0-60 mph in just 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 220 mph. Check out the video.

that car is the biggest waste of money ever and i would laugh, if like a car just hit her behind when she stopped.does that have the same engine as the SL65 and 0-60 in 4.4 seconds that really slow for a 8 million dollar car. In my opinion, i think Mayback are all just expensive ugly cars.

It's not about the horsepower at this point. It's about exclusivity. Just look at that car. You'll never see a car that big and that eye-catching. It's like a classic cruiser with a long hood.

I see someone like Leno owning one of these.

you are such an idiot. have you seen the size of that thing - let alone know the weight? how fast do you expect a 700hp tank to do 0-60 in? the veyron is 1000hp, about 3/4 the weight and mid-engined. you figure it out.

It took Mercedes to prove that you can make an exceptionally ugly car, but you must build it by hand and it'll cost you $8M a piece.

For more frugal buyers, you can get a hideous car from BMW (5 series) for a lot less money!
