Face off Friday: Which is a more “bling” SUV? Escalade, Denali or Range Rover
So what exactly is a “bling” SUV? Well according to the people that drive these BIG SUVs, a “bling” SUV is one that shows presence and of course shows off your money. So when you think about today’s Face off Friday, for a second forget performance, reliability and what’s under the hood. We spoke to some of the “bling” SUV drivers and the list comes down to the Cadillac Escalade, the GMC Denali and the Range Rover. Most drivers of these big show off vehicles throw on new wheels, a new shiny grille and amazing entertainment systems inside.

We think the Cadillac Escalade still holds the crown for being the ultimate “bling” vehicle since it looks amazing with big shiny wheels and a shiny grille. A Ranger Rover with chrome wheels just doesn’t cut it for us. What do you think? Check out the images before you make your decision.

Nothing screams middle class suburbanite louder and with less class than the Escalade and Denali.

I can imagine a thugged-out Queen Elizabeth cruising around the outskirts of London in a pimped-out Ranger Rover.

The Escalade is the king of bling. The Denali is more civilized imo. Take a look at a Range Rover with some 24" Momo Storms. I think those are the best looking rims for a Range.

people mostly get esclades and denalis, which are nice but i just love the range rover with like 22s or 24s its like something else and it has way more class.

Navigator.

I'd have to say.

But I love the Range Rover- I'd definitely pick it of the three.

Why is the Denali there? It's just a de-blinged Escalade!

I would have agreed with you in the past, but the new Navigators are so ugly. Lincoln has dropped the ball big time with that SUV.

That's what I'm saying- although it wasn't included, the new Navigator is so blinged-out that it looks horrible.

I wonder if Cash Money Records had any idea that their word "bling" would become so main stream these days. They should have patented it...much like Beyonce did "bootylicious"..but I digress.

To me the Range Rover is much more understated than the Esky. They are both nice (and I do prefer the Range Rover a smidgen) But the Cadillac is much more "in your face" among the three.

the escalade, regardless of being a pretty nice car right now, fits a certain connotation - if ure an athlete or rapper its the car for you with some hideous chrome spinning rims - but, if you're a classy one you get range rover and leave it stock except for maybe a light tint

My roomate has the Range Rover Sport Supercharged and its really a beautiful piece of machinery but it is so cramped. It honeslty annoying if we head to NYC for the night with four of us.

The Escalade without rims and cheesy looking grills also looks classy. But if 24's had to be thrown on, I would spare the Range Rover the embarassment and let the Escalade deal with it.

Love the Range Rover. Your roommate should've gone with a real Range Rover- there's a lot more room, and the interior is much better.

I have to disagree, the Range Rover Sport interior is much prettier, and especially if you're the driver everything is within your reach, its like they have lifted everything up towards you...And plus, from the outside its looks better and its overall faster..

Although, I would never ever pick an Escalade over any Range, the Cadillac is much more "bling"...Not necessarily a good thing though..

Actually, the RR Sport isn't really quicker at all, and have you ever sat in both of the cars' interiors? There's a huge difference in tactile feel and quality. There's a reason why the real RR is so much more money- it's way more luxurious.

Maybe..I have sat in a normal Range Rover with a Kahn Bodykit, and a Range Rover Sport Supercharged (black in and out)..Both are amazing..I just seem to like the sport supercharged with 400 horses more..To me that car is the ultimate SUV...

I agree- they're both beautiful.

But personally, I think the ultimate SUV is the REAL Range Rover Supercharged with 20" rims, dark blue over cream with blue piping, and piano black trim.

I Like Land Rovers but I still got to say that the new Chevy Tahoe is boss, possibly my only favorite American truck...although land rover is owned by ford...but u get the gist of what I'm saying.

The Escalade: largest emblems, biggest wheels, and plenty of chrome. The quintessential 'bling' suv, though my personal favorite is the Range Rover.

If you ask me,

Cadillac Escalade wins the award for best bling

Range Rover wins the award for the most obnoxious/ road rageous drivers

GMC Denali is the most underestimated

Nothing but nothing says . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I'm living ghetto fabulous, than chrome wheels and Bling! The Escalade and it's ilk are responsible for depleting half the worlds' supply of chrome! :-)
