NEW Honda RX - Mid-size SUV

On 22nd February 2007 in Japan will be presented the new Honda's SUV - RX. It will come against Nissan X-Trail and Toyota Wish. The car will have 2 engines from Honda Stream - 1,8l and 2,0l. It will cost between $14,700 - $20,500. After Japan the SUV will be presented in Europe and USA.

About the car. For me it looks old, boring and ugly. I do not know about America and Japan, but for Europe, this car doesn't work.

Every inch of that car is horrible. From the 90's exterior styling to the tacky, fussy and disjointed looking interior.

I think the fuel mileage will be fine. I have an HR-V now and it gets great mileage. These pics don't do this car justice. I saw the product catalog some months ago and it's a really stunning car. It look particularly good in white (and I hate most white cars).

The design, while overall pleasing for me, is a bit disappointing. It looks TOO much like the Nissan X-Trail. I much prefer the more curvy HR-V body. I don't even know that they will name this the HR-V again. I know for sure that RX was only a codename.
