Sneak Peek: Wagnor Shows Pontiac G8 Sedan on ABC
Charles Gibson of ABC got a tour from Rick Wagnor around GM’s “top secret” fuel cell lab and design studio. While Rick couldn’t show Gibson much of what goes on behind close doors at GM, he was kind enough to give ABC a preview of the upcoming Pontiac G8 that will debut at the Chicago Auto Show next week. Note to GM:

If anyone over there is listening or bothers to read the blogs on this site, then here is some simple advice for you:

Just when you think you've got something right, continue to push just a little bit more. Have you ever heard of the 211 degrees priciple? At 211 degrees, water is very hot, but at 212 it boils, and when it boils you get steam, and steam can power a locomotive.

That one extra degree makes all the difference. One extra degree of effort in business and in life....separates the good from the great!

Here are some simple truths:

The average victory in all major golf tournaments over the past 25 years combined was less than 3 strokes.

The margin for victory for an Olympic gold medal and no medal at all is extremely small. In 2004 the margin of victory in the mens 800 metre race was .71sec

At the Indy 500 the average margin of victory over the past 10 years has been 1.54 seconds. On average the winner took home $1,278,813. The second place prize average was $621,321, a difference of $657,492.

If everyone at GM would have this simple mind set, there is no telling where GM could go.

Ummm...because it is a reskinned Commodore. That isn't a bad thing. Have you ever seen a Commodore SS in person and not on google images? It looks so much better in person.

A last-generation BMW. Which is a huge step forward for Pontiac. It pratcially beats current BMW designs.
