Report: Volvo Working on a C30 Hybrid Concept
Volvo is hard at work on developing a hybrid concept of the Volvo C30. The Volvo C30 Hybrid Concept will have plug-in battery charging capabilities along with a diesel engine. The car can run 45 miles on battery alone before the until the diesel engine wakes up. There is no word yet on the size of the engine on the Volvo C30 Hybrid Concept.

Or maybe it's just time we realized that hybrid technology should be available across the board from all manufacturers... so it's not exactly copying... it's common sense - and better yet, it's about time!

Not really!! At least they are using a Diesel engine! So they are making a car thats already fuel efficient EVEN MORE!!!!! Go Volvo!

Plug in Hybrids = not the smartest idea. I cant wait until everyone realizes that you have to pay for electricity. I bet the electric utilities (especially in california) are cringing at the thought of an incredible, extra strain on their lines, especially in the summer when everyone runs their AC.

VOLVO is not copying the toyota..its just that volvo has its own concept and well known for its versatility and manufactures cars which was primarily designed to attract the young and active people from metropolitan.
