355 HP: Abt Sportsline Unleashes Audi TT-R
The German Audi tuner tweaks the TT model range, topping the lineup with a 355-horsepower TT-R equipped with a VR6 3.2-liter engine that accelerates from zero to 62 mph in 5.1 seconds, versus 5.9 seconds for the standard model. Even the TT with the base 2.0 TFSI engine gets a boost to 270 hp, with maximum torque of 258 pound-feet. The standard model produces 200 hp and 207 lb-ft.

Abt Sportsline also modifies the new 2.0-liter TT with its intelligent Sport technology, which allows the car to be fueled with standard, super or "super plus" gas. The TT-R gets such exterior touches as a four-pipe rear muffler, rear skirt inset and rear wing.

THIS CAR FAILS! It really bothers me how Audi took the cheap route and simply refreshed this car without actually brining anything new to the game.

Get out of here, we're looking at a has been here.

What the hell are you talking about? This is a tuner car, not a normal Audi.

And if you where talking about the TT in general you still have no clue what you are talking about.

Very nice. But what if Audi just put the S4's 340hp 4.2 liter V8 engine in there. I know it might be nose heavy because is a V8, but the torque the engine would generate, would be much greater.

Wonder if there are any fiberglass or graphite materials added to make it lighter. It must be a lot of fun to drive :)

We saw this article already, but it is beautiful.

I just can't wait to see it in person; perhaps it will be at the Chitown show. I'm sure it's a stunner.
