Report: Honda S2000 Successor to become an Acura
When we last heard that the successor to the Honda S2000 will have four seats we were greatly disappointed. We also predicted that the successor to the Honda S2000 will be badged as an Acura since it was reported to be marketed a more affluent audience. While the roadster having four seats is still not confirmed, WindingRoad is reporting that their source in Japan has confirmed it will be badged an Acura.

The successor to the Honda S2000 is now under development but we won’t see a concept or production version of it for another two or three years, after it gets approved by Honda’s management.

Well, I guess if Acura is going to bring the NSX to the GT class, they need a pure sports car.

Although, I'd like it better as a Honda.

^As if that's a bad thing.

Honda quite easily has the best engineering of all large Japanese brands. I'd consider them a Japanese Volkswagen, except for better reliability, but the drawback would be rather inconsistent styling.
