New family hatch for SAIC-Roewe cars

Today AutoExpress reports that China’s SAIC-Roewe cars are planning a new Ford Focus rivaling family hatch. The report says Warwickshire engineering firm Ricardo 2010, which was recently acquired by SAIC, will develop it. Ricardo 2010 employs many ex-Rover designers and engineers and in fact this all-new family hatch is said to be an evolution of the abandoned RDX60 project, which was in development prior to the collapse of MG-Rover.....
