US getting a “sportier” 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Let’s Give Ernst Lieb, CEO of Mercedes-Benz USA, a hand. He’s pushed executives to get the US version of the 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class coming this summer to be a bit more “sportier” than the European version. “Styling for the next-generation Mercedes-Benz C class coming to North America this summer will be distinct from European models” says Lieb.

He said styling for the entry-luxury compact for this market will be more “aggressive” than in Europe. Can’t wait to see what that will look like.

This car is gorgeous. I'm seriously thinking of getting one to replace my V6 C230. A shame the C350 doesn't come with a 6-speed, but I am probably going to go for the lower end V6.

I think the C Class is hideous. I don't like any of the new Mercedes-Benz models.

To me it's more close to the new S class, which I like much more than the old one. Finally the new S looks great, and now they improved the C class also. I still wait until I see the car in person, but for now I like what I see.
