Audi sold the most vehicles out of any import brand in Korea this past January. Audi had 593 registrations, Mercedes-Benz followed with 580 and BMW took third place with 545. Read the article for more registration data.

wow, talk about a tight market. Hyundai/Kia/Daewoo have had virtually no competition up until a couple years ago. Wow.

That is pretty stupid. Nowhere near as significant as Audi's Chinese leadership. I mean, a forty car difference between first place and second place?!

That's why I won't buy a Korean car until they open their markets to foreign competition. It's unfair that they ship millions of their cars worldwide while only buying 4,365 imports per month. In Japan on the other hand you see a lot of imports, although still less than in the US and Europe.
