Toyota Slashes 2025 bZ4X Pricing By $6,000 - Is That Enough For You To Consider An EV?

Pricing for the Toyota bZ4X for the 2025 model year has been announced and, just as expected, the Japanese automaker has given it a significant cutback to position it lower than the Lexus RZ's price for the new year and presumably to drum up sales for the sole Toyota BEV. Even better, Toyota Motor North America adds a new Nightshade trim for the first time, making the bZ4X the first and only BEV with this dark-themed variant.

 

After leaving the Corolla lineup, the Nightshade trim in the bZ4X differentiates itself from the rest of the BEV lineup with unique design elements such as black 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels and other black exterior accents such as the badges, door handles, and a split rear spoiler. It also has interior enhancements like red stitching on the Softex fabric-trimmed seats and leather-trimmed tiller. The Nightshade is also exclusively available with a two-tone Wind Chill Pearl or Heavy Metal and black roof color combos.
