Spy Shots: 2010 Lotus Esprit
Autogespot’s spy photographers in Europe had a chance to capture the best images yer of the prototype 2010 Lotus Esprit. So far sources have been saying that under the hood, the 2010 Lotus Esprit will have a BMW 4.4 or 4.8 liter V8 engine. The car will be built at the Lotus plant in Hethel in Norfolk UK. Pricing for the 2010 Lotus Esprit is expected to be around $125,000.

VW is probably going to buy Proton/Lotus. In that case, the Elise will use the 2.0T, and this will use the Audi V8 and V10 engines.

I don't see BMW engines in any Lamborghini, thanks.

The old Esprit always has been old and crude, thats because it always was practicly the same Esprit as the 1st one released in the beginning of the seventies.

Plus i would definetly buy a Lotus over an Acura/Honda.
