Toyota Walks Aways With IntelliChoice Best Value Awards for 2007

IntelliChoice, has announced its "Best Overall Value of the Year" awards for 2007.

These annual awards go to the vehicles that represent the best return on investment in their class over the course over 5 years of ownership.

As you might expect Toyota Motor Co. walked away with more awards than any other manufacturer.

Eight overall category winners include:

Best Car Value Under $23,000 -- Toyota Prius
Best Car Value Over $23,000 -- Lexus ES
Best SUV Value Under $28,000 -- Ford Escape Hybrid
Best SUV Value Over $28,000 -- Lexus RX 350
Best Truck Value Under $27,000 -- Toyota Tacoma 2WD
Best Truck Value Over $27,000 -- Chevrolet Silverado Classic 3500 Extended Cab 2WD
Best Van Value Under $25,000 -- Honda Odyssey Passenger Van
Best Van Value Over $25,000 -- Honda Odyssey Passenger Van

An interesting list, only blaring error in my opinion is that the Toyota RAV4 should have beaten the Ford Escape Hybrid.

We wouldn't say anything. It's not like we didn't expect something like this to happen.

Toyota racks up the "Quality" and "Reliability" surveys... deservedly so.

If you want the rainbow, you've gotta put up with the rain. That, Toyota did.

MercBasher the RAV4 isnt a really good value the Escape is I mean for getting an Suv wich is Also a hybrid. Everyone praises it

The RAV4's a better value than the Escape for other reasons too. Such as the "depreciation" factor. You can't "Escape" the blackhole of depreciation in a Ford.
