What’s Hotter? BMW Alpina B7 or the BMW Alpina B6
The new BMW Alpina B7 just made its US debut at the Chicago Auto Show. The BMW Alpina B7 has a 4.4 liter V8 engine that produces 500 horsepower making it the M7 without an official badge from BMW. Well since you guys really enjoyed seeing that BMW Alpina collaboration we thought we’d bring you another wonderful creation from the two companies, the BMW Alpina B6. The BMW Alpina B6 has the same 4.4 liter V8 engine in the B7 and produces the same 500 horsepower with 516 lb-ft. of torque.

The B6 coupe convertible has a top speed of 193 mph and does 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds. So now we leave it up to you. What is hotter? The BMW Aplina B6 or the BMW Alpina B7. Check out the images below.

My vote would be on the B7, closest thing we have to an M7. There is already an M6 out and much better looking, IMO.

Though with the B7 I really would have preferred dual twin tips rather than the single twin tip.

I vote for the B7. I don't really like the looks of the regular 7 series or the 6 Series, but the B7 here with the cosmetic upgrades, really does make a difference.

Our dealer was one of the lucky ones to get a B7 last week. I can tell you in person, that the car looks pretty sweet. Sounds really throaty too. Too bad the guy who bought it will just keep it in his garage forever.

The BMW M6 could do 192mph without the limiter.
I saw it on Speed's Test Drive.

Would I hurt anyone's feelings if I said both are uninteresting and unattractive. But it't not Alpina's fault. They started with a Flame Surface BMW.

B7. Like "jeffy" said, the M6 is already a car, and is better than the B6.

B7 offers the sumptuous interior, and the "if-there-was-an-M7" performance.

Why did you have to add that in?

You obviously have major insecurities about Audi, because you post about their products in most BMW articles. You bring them up when nobody else has- and it's just odd. Do you have a social worker? Your parents should get you one.

the b6 is like a gift from the car tuner gods

Let me continue:
"The m was about 15K more.. but..."the RS6 will be more expensive than M5.

RS is a not a real production car, a subsidized car to produce a halo effect.. RS models are never as desireable or collectible aas its M counterparts. That, my VW friend, is a FACT... the m5 csl will be more expensive than that.. so whats your point?.

Haha you're making excuses why the RS6 is better/more-expensive than the M5.

You push me over the edge. There are plenty of BMWs I'm considering. For winter cars, I'm not only thinking of 335xi coupe (if it comes out), but the new X3. I saw it in person and was very impressed. I also may look at an S4 Avant. Although I'm keeping the Cabriolet a few years longer, the 650ci is on my list. I might consider the M3, if it's good enough.

But then I see you on AutoSpies. And you turn me off of BMW completely. What is your huge problem? I doubt you've ever owned an Audi. Was your father an Audi executive, and he raped you, and now it's scarred you for life?

Oh and, I'm not going to tell you how much I make...

But I will tell you that in April, I'm moving into a multi-million dollar house with my wife and son...

Whereas you spent your life savings on a 330i and can't afford to keep up with the mortgage on your $80,000 one-bedroom home.
