GM wants to be “Friend With Benefits” on MySpace
So we’re sure many of you have used MySpace to get a date or you’re just lonely looking for some companionship. Well GM is out there like a pedophiler looking to becoming “Friends with Benefits,” in their new advertisement campaign. The new campaign for the Pontiac G5 offers tiered benefits for those who register their G5 on MySpace and get their friends to purchase a G5.

If you can get, in some unearthly possible way, a thousand of your friends to buy a Pontiac G5 you’ll get $1,000. And if you don’t have 1,000 friends and only a 100 and persuade them to buy a Pontiac G5, GM will give you a $100 MasterCard gift card.

I really think it impossible to get one thousand of your friend to buy the G5. Sorry, but I don't this a good stragety for saling the new G5 at all. GM better come up with something better than that if they want to stay in business.

"friend with benefits" Is GM that out of touch with the real world to not know what that means? Or are they trying to be that clever and risque? Hopefully not, at least not with a G5

so if you can get 100 people to buy a G5 you get $100? Wow, with rewards that huge that I'm sure people will try really hard to get that accomplished. Tell you what, if you can get 100 people to buy a G5 they should make you a corporate Pontiac sales trainer, and if you can get 1000 people to buy one they ought to give you a Pontiac dealership.

This really show that GM corporate only like to put big $$$ in their own pocket. $100 seriously, what happen all billion and billion of dollars. Oh..I forgot, they have high paying CEO and other high ranking official in their company. When have long will this add last before they will remove it.

You will for sure going to make more money using that time you plan to persuade 100 person to purchase the G5. I'm suprise that this company is still in business.

Friends with benefits by GM sounds like, GM F**king you up the a*s. Who has 1000 friends? And you only get $1000 dollars. If you are that good at convincing 1000 dumb blind fools into purchasing the G5, then you ought to be a top notch lawyer earning big bucks where the G5 wouldn't even be considered as a rental car.
