GM plans to produce hydrogen Sequel by 2010

GM announced Tuesday that it has plans to produce a production version of its Sequel concept car by 2010. GM’s chief engineer on the project mad a presentation in Palm Springs, California where he stated that even though a hydrogen infrastructure will not be ready by 2010, GM still plans to have the car ready to go.

The Sequel is a hydrogen fuel cell-powered concept car and sport utility vehicle from General Motors, employing latest generation HydroGen3 technology developed by Opel. The Sequel uses a drive-by-wire system. It has a range of three hundred miles, and its only emission is water. It debuted at the 2005 North American International Auto Show and is now being shown at the 75th international car show in Geneva, Switzerland. GM chief and chief executive Rick Wagoner suggested it will be over a decade before it goes into production. Seems like GM is ahead of the game.

Lol you know what is funny everything these days from GM is a rebadged Opel (which r nice) But GM can't be the American car anymore its gone German
