SCOOP: Pontiac G8 Wagon Soon!
A neat computer image of the G8, but in wagon form. With Holden expected to unveil a Commodore Wagon in months, the G8 wagon may just be a possibility.

Are we bringing a little competition to the Dodge Magnum .....

Why do I keep seeing a little BMW influence at first glance at this vehicle ??

I think this vehicle will do well ...

Agree its probably photoshopped, the rear end looks like a Saab 9-3 wagon. Overall this is a horrible dated vehicle. Forget it GM.

It is photoshopped- it clearly says at the beginning of this article. You don't even have to click the link to see.

I guess imitation is the best form of flattery because in this car, there is a lot of both BMW and Audi influence. I'm not referring to the just the wagon of course. Has anyone taken a close look at the interior of the G8. It's as if GM took an A4 interior and placed it into this car. The general placement of all of the controls are almost an exact copy.

Look at the location of the headlight switch, steering wheel controls, navigations system, climate controls, driver information display, even the glove box lever! The navi system is even a Blaupunkt!

The belt line trim is located in exactly the same place and the seats are similar to an S4.

If you look at the rear valance, the dual twin pipe exhuast and the filler between them is pure Audi. The C pillar is pure BMW and the grill is of course a toss up between traditional Pontiac design and BMW. The general profile is pure German sedan with all the same proportions.

The only things that really don't belong are the hood vents and the Lexus tail lights but other than that, this thing could be on the Autobahns of Germany giving everyone double takes.

Magnum looks better, and although I like the new G8 for what it is, there's not much of a market for this car.
