Spies spot the coolest Nissan ever in testing- Spy Photos

With Nissan and Infiniti it's always been hit and miss with their models over the years.

They've produced some real beauties like the 350z and Infiniti G35 coupe and they've stunk out the house with products like the Quest minivan.

Well, they are readying another beauty for the USA.

The Skyline.

Ash, one of our reader's, turned us on to these photos of the car in testing.

450Hp twin turbo (liek the 335i's), 10psi boost with aftermarket potential (by design) up to 550HP. Nissan knows how much their fans like to tune these cars into even more of a cult following. 60 in 4.5- 4.7.

thanks for proving my point about how PSYCHOTIC people are over cars on here, are u ok? they are just cars, if the mention of a CAR (a non living combination of materials, that humans use to get around) brand bothers you that much you should seek proffesional help....neither of us trashed the car at all, please get help and fast

If this Skyline has 450+ hp, I bet it will do 0-60 in about 4.2-4.6 seconds. From the picture it look pretty impressive.

Lexus.. It will be AWD, so the additional weight will bog it down a bit.. sure the extra traction will compensate for it. It is an exciting car at 70K. Blows anything in the market away with similar positioning

BTW I think will do 0-100 in under 3.7 seconds and not 4.1 to 4.3 as most of u r saying.(becuase it will be lighter than it's rivals,911 Turbo,Z06,R8,....etc)

i seriously doubt your number but i think it will do better than the 4.5 or 4.6 seconds, with a twin turbo 6, with that much power if thing weighs as much a corvette or porsche it has to do 60 in at least 4.2 or 4.1, i doubt it will out run the 3.8 second time of the 911 turbo though, or the zo6 time

Stop living in Dreamland. Sure it will be fast, but that figure is highly unrealistic for this price point, engine size etc.

Skylines of the past...

The GTR will have a force fed twin turbo unit and next generation AWD. Reports of a VQ 3.7 litre HR engine is more than enough power to drive this machine and to keep up or surpass any machine out there. Now nissan is running a VQ 4.5 HR V8 in their GT500 class cars this year. But most likely that engine will be in the next generation Z car for 2009. oh BTW paddle shifters will be avail. also.

Also the Skyline was a Buick here in the states and I am sure GM still owns the name in the states.. plus like said before its called the GT-R not skyline in Japan.. the skyline is the car its based off of... over stated or restated ..just my thoughts
