So You Want To Rent A Veyron For A Month?

That's not a bad deal at all.

I'm buying this car.

That be the greatest month of my life to rent a Veyron...it be money down the drain though.

Imagine how many sets of tires you would go through in a month's time with the Veyron!

It costs more than the mortgage on the house I'm buying (which is more expensive, BTW). Stupid.

I wouldn't want to do this- if I ruined it, think of the costs!

You hear about all those people ruining Enzos; I don't want to be the first on the list of people who ruined their Veyron.

The Veyron while more powerful is a much more stable car. But of course going to fast for a situation is not smart in any car.

26k isn't that bad at all. Many people make that much, per year. Even if you have a mediocre job at Wal Mart you can rent they Veyron. But, you won't have anything to eat the rest of the year.

Yeah, but here's my philosophy about buying homes: a reasonable size with a huge garage. I mean, why would anyone need a house bigger than 5k square feet unless there's more than six in your family? It's unreasonable. A big garage, on the other hand, has room to fill.

It's about 5K square feet. Four bedrooms (plus one "bedroom" that's going to be my office in the basement), kitchen, living room, dining room, library, family room off the kitchen, two-car attatched (with space for the A3 in the driveway), nice backyard that's off of the walk-out basement, deck off the kitchen, huge rec room in the basement...

What's a walk-out basement? Well, the house is on a hill, and what looks like the first floor in the front of the house looks like the second floor in the back. The basement has doors off the rec room that you can walk outside from, hence the name. The deck off the kitchen is because the kitchen is actually the second floor.

I'm not going to give you the real estate page out of fear that one of you will stalk me (lol), but here's a picture:

Oh and...

I live in Glencoe, IL, 60022. It is the eighth-richest town in the United States, and the average income is a ridiculous $180-200K. We were very lucky with this house- this was a great deal. In an area of Glencoe as nice as the one we're moving into, a house as nice as ours would normally go for $2-2.5 million. Still do-able, but it's a stretch. We probably wouldn't be able to redesign anything in the house for several years if it was that expensive.

And yes, I can call it "ours." It's under contract, and the deal closes on April 16.

Wow. That's nice S4. This may seem personal, so if you don't want to answer, don't, but what do you do for work?

By the way, I bet those houses are going up for sale left and right because they're 2-2.5 million when the average income is less than 500k. There are a few places like that where I live. Theres a city near where I live and a two bedroom, one bathroom condo is 1-1.5 million.
