Not to my knowledge, the Deamon features the new 2.4L dual VVT "world" engine. The PT used a different 2.4L...I 'd love to see a 300HP SRT-4 version!

This is not the same engine...same displacement but SquirrelV8 is correct, its from the "world" engine series. More powerful and much more capable than the older 2.4 that was in the PT Cruiser.

Cute! But nothing else impresses me! Not saying it is bad but with 170hp it should not be marketed as a sports car! I hope it at least good on gas.

This car looks like a mix between a honda s2000 and a bmw z4.

The car looks like a mix between the Chrysler ME Four-Twelve and Dodge Viper. A car this size it makes me wonder if it's another spin off of the old-gen SLK just like the Crossfire used. There is no doubt they would be cranking it up with an SRT-4 model. It would only make sense anyways. If they have an SRT8 Jeep Grand Cherokee they will for sure have a SRT for this Demon. Hell, why not just copy parent company Merc and add high performance models to each segment? AMG this and AMG that. Now it's SRT this and SRT that. Might as well, like father(MB) like son!(Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep)
