XM and Sirius to combine forces!

XM and Sirius satellite radio companies agreed Monday to combine and become one company. The decision is in preliminary agreement and no changes are set to occur in the immediate future.

For the purpose of them merging. A couple of years ago satellite was the next major frontier in entertainment. The ipod pretty much destroyed the prospect of satellite radio. It was a great idea at the time, nobody ever thought the ipod would be as succesful as it is.

i understand the idea was great, but you have to look at fundamentals...negative EPS and poor P/E ratios make for a poor stock...enough about finance, though...let's talk cars!!!

let's get through the regulatory hurdles first...then see if they can eliminate some of their astronomical fixed costs...those stocks aren't going to move much in the near future until a lot of the grey area is cleared up.
