First real photos of newly redesigned Maserati Coupe

Exterior is 100 times better looking than the old one. I saw a few around and it did not even give me the wow factor. For a car like this it should have some wow factor. This new one will definitely turn some heads.

I agree this is one stunning car! This one feels so much more like a ferrari (or car in that sortof vein) than any maserati for awhile. I can see there being a big demand for this car!

I have felt, for some time now, that the Maserati coupes look almost truncated at the rear, and that they should be longer cars. This one seems to fix any complaint I had about the exterior. It may still have they truncated look, but it seems to work for this car.

I'm not sure if I like it or not.

There's improvements, such as the more shapely lines, the rear lamps, the integrated exhaust and the interior (as far as I can see).

However, I don't love the headlamps (they look photoshopped on), and the top looks like a removable hardtop.

The back reminds me of the LFA

Lexus IS headlights and faintly LS ish taillights but otherwise, gorgeous.

I saw the LS in the taillights as well at first glance. But you will never convince some of these people that anything European could ever have anything remotely in common with a Japanese product.

you know what im sorry your right "it is totally believable and not wishful thinking that pininfarina copied lexus in desighning a maserati" the only thing this car has in common with the ls is that it has four wheels, leather, an engine, seats, headlights and tail lights, etc. comeon.....these lexus people clutch for anything to say that other cars look like lexus, i see a lexus in the tail lights, ok every car has taillights, and headlights next..., how believable is it that maserati said i want lexus tail lights and head lights......some people lol

Don't know what the performance specs on this will be, but I'd like to see more power from those Ferrari engines in this car or a variant model thereof.

The Maserati GranTurismo competes against the Jaguar XKR and Porsche 911, I don't think there are 'much better' alternatives out there, especially ones with as much style as Maserati.

Remember the outgoing 4200 GranSport has been praised for its stunning driving dynamics and Ferrari-derived engine...
