SPY PHOTOS: BMW M3 Coupe and Four Door
At the upcoming Geneva Motor Show BMW will show a concept car of the new M3 Coupe. However, the production version – for release this summer - will look in various details different from the concept, as can be seen on these prototype shots.

While the concept car has the license plate in the lower bumper area, it will show up in the production model between the taillights in the boot lid, as before.

Something about the front just seems a bit off. I don't know if it's the angle of the curve or what.

On the flip side, I am much happier with the rear and the exhaust, it looks more in like with what an M should be. The only change I would make is color the rear grille black and maybe extended a bit more on either side of the exhaust.

those are p-shopped versions of the camoed shots we've already seen...i guarantee you there are no M3s running around out there without camo.

NARunner,
They said that some of the strips were removed by computer.

Sorry my friend, those are as real as it gets. That 90% of the real deal.
There are M3s without camo, and I am sure we will in Geneva.

I don't care if it goes 0-60 in -3.2 seconds, it's verrry disappointing.

I think it looks awsome and the performance will be even better than the looks. So what is so dissappointing about it?

It's a photoshop.

I don't think it's remotely possible that this car will be disappointing. An "M" bodykit on the beautiful new E92's design is a recipe for success.

Is there any confirmation that the M3 sedan will wear the coupe's front end? If so, weird.

It is as ugly and disappointing as a Victoria Secrets supermodel.

the E46 M3 was so much more masculine and aggressive looking. I recognize the side slits which I liked very much. The car looks soft and weak. I guess I just hate the new design language. I'll never own another BMW... at least until they get rid of Bangle.

I think this new M3 is really and I mean really "UGLY" compare the Lexus IS-F, Audi RS4 and the new Infiniti G35. Even the last gen M3 look so much better than this one. They have gotten really soft with the design for this new M3.

IS-F? When it comes out than you can mention it, until than...

I've decided I do not like the current 3 series line up at all. I way prefer the E46. The current gen looks way too bland, boring, fat, splodgy and uninteresting.
They've turned the coupe from a sports car into a 2 door version of a saloon, with no added flair, makes me think why bother to pay more money for a less practical car that handles and looks the same if not worse, the convertible has a stupid folding hardtop and is very chunky, the saloon has an awful grill and rear lights, and in general I do not like these cars. Which is a pity, as BMW have never (well once, X3) disappointed me in the past. I even like the Z4, I think it looks different and sporty, with great proportions.

I wonder whatever happen to their designing team? I mean the last M3 look so much and I mean so much better than the new M3. And this is coming a Lexus fan, the only BMW I have like was the 650i/M6.

That is NOT a final M3.At least not with those rims. Those rims are included in the M-Sport package but you'll never see them on an M3.

Alot of the rear is photoshopped and it looks HIDEOUS !
The wheels are for suckers.
The 335 coupe is hot in sport trim so I do not know how BMW can mess up the new M3.
Maybe they should be aiming for elegant masculinity.
