Spy Shots: BMW M3 Uncovered
When the 2007 Geneva auto show opens in roughly two weeks one of the most important vehicles on display will be the BMW M3 concept. It's guaranteed to look just like the production model, but if you can't wait that long take a look at our latest spy photos of the 2008 BMW M3. Virtually undisguised, these M3 prototypes reveal nothing new. They have deeper, more aggressive air dams, wider wheels and tires, cross drilled rotors and quad exhausts. If anything, these cars suggest the M3 might look a little too nondescript for its own good.

It certainly is subtle. Is that a good thing? In this case I'm not sure.

This car is going to be one of the kings of the sleeper model. Most of the people that post on this site will be able to know what kind of car it is but the majority of the public will think it is just another 3 series until they get smoked then they will want to know what type of car just trashed their 60k plus car.

Nondescriptness has always been one of the best characteristics of BMW's M-models. If I had the money to buy one (I don't), I would remove the M3 badging and stick a 328i label on the trunklid.

I'm glad you don't have the money to spend to ruin the car.

This is a photoshop that we've already seen.

Wait for the real M3.

I will bet on anything that the real front bumper is nowhere close to these spy photos. It does not match the rest of the car in any way. In fact, it doesn't even look as good as the 335i bumper. If you look at it from the side view, the bottom front curves upward (not typical M bumper). All it is is a test piece and most likely the rear is as well. The M5 and M6 have a clean aggressive look, once again, this is far from clean.

That's exactly what I'm thinking! It's a photoshop- see how badly-done the rear is? BMW would never do such a thing to the beautiful coupe's design.

The E46 still stands more aggressive but this new one is a beauty! Looks great.

Hopefully, Im going to buy 1. I like almost everything about this car, I ll just have to see it in real and test drive it before I order one. Mine will be a silverstone 1.
