US Mercedes C-Class to get distinct styling from its Euro counterpart
According to an interview that the CEO of Mercedes USA Ernst Lieb, gave to Automotive News, the recently unveiled 2008 Mercedes C-Class that’ll be available in the US in September will have distinct styling from its European spouse. Although Lieb didn’t give any specific details he noted that style-wise, the US version of the new C-Class will be more “aggressive” than the European edition.

I doubt they'd honestly redesign parts of the car specifically for the US market.

I can see the C having a V8 but in form of an AMG model seems more logical.

No, the C550 won't be coming out.

However, there will be a C63 AMG with a V8.

Wouldn't it be interesting if the small sedans could come with non-performance V8s? Imagine a C550, A4 4.2 quattro, 350i... what monsters.
