For those of you who do not know, I traded in my 2003 X5 for a new 2007 X5 3.0si this week.
It is a fantastic vehicle, and I am loving every second of it!

you should submit an article on the major differences you've found from owning both. I've now heard from quite a few different people that the new X5 is a totally different animal.

The new X5 is awesome.
My BMW 5 lease is up, I have only one car for the time being.
I would like to pick up the new X5, however, the Mercedes Benz leases are a LOT cheaper.
I have a hard time debating.

the thing that went stright into my subconcious was the autospies article on BMW's lasting only 100K miles while Mercedes can last 300K miles.

The exterior of this car is good not great.
But the interior is top notch. Its absolutely awsome.

I will be getting one in the next 6 months
A 3.0i white exterior, on either black or beige interior.

I like the interior enough to deal with it on a daily basis but the exterior design (especially up front) is too busy just like the X3. Just too much happening in teh girll and lower dam area.

you know that commercial with the new X5 driving on the track in Nuremburg, well, it made my heart flutter when i saw it on tv, and then my heart skipped a beat when i saw the extended version of that same commercial in the movie theater. the engine GROWWWWLED! i've seen 2 new X5's on the road, NEITHER had any tint windows, it's look BAD without tints, please when you buy the X5, get your windows tinted, you can see everything in the car.

It comes with the rear climate package.

Since we are talkin abt trading in cars. I think I mite trade in the fusion its been a year but i am moving towards the edge the dealer just got it in. What you guys think? The dealer only supports FoMoCo and VW. Although i was thinking to order the Passat. The fusion is a great car I just want to get something better.And it doesnt make sense to trade it in and get the top of the line.(I have SEV6) And i really love the new x5 its sporty and interior is great!!

X5 looks really nice. And there is a big improvement done on the interior.

Why don't you consult the other Mary Kay-shilling suburbanites at the next tract home association meeting.

Personally, I prefer the Q7. The rear seats are more usable, and IMO it looks better.
