WATCH: 2027 Audi Nuvolari Supercar Caught Testing At The Nurburgring

The Volkswagen Group's Audi division is currently testing its fastest-ever production car where all supercars have to prove themselves. Camouflaged to a degree, this prototype of the Nuvolari looks extremely close to Audi's recently unveiled show car that Formula 1 drivers Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto demonstrated at the legendary Monaco street circuit during the Grand Prix weekend.

Dynamic testing is the name of the game here, but also remember that Audi wants to validate the high-load thermal behavior of the Lamborghini-designed V8 engine. Speaking of the Italian automaker, did you notice the rear-mounted Italian plate of this Nuvolari? Given the aforementioned, you will hardly be surprised that assembly will take place in both Germany and Italy.
