Huh?: EDAG "Luxury Utility Vehicle" Concept

Huh?: EDAG
Part Ridgeline, part 'Slade, part Tartan 3700, many parts Viagra and sharing the name of a rebadged Isuzu, it's the EDAG LUV. The LUV, which stands for Luxury Utility Vehicle, will debut in Geneva. It's a showcase for the substantial talents of EDAG, and the vehicle is quite the engineer's masterpiece, if a vulgar display of bourgeoisie.

Is it just me, or does it look like a tuned GL with a hideous bodykit?

AutoBlog doesn't mention the more-than-passing resemblance...

Now that I look at it closely, it IS a GL!

The headlamps, shape of the doors and even the door handles give it away.

I wonder why the article doesn't mention it.

Another clue is that in one of the shots of the rear, you can kind of see through the tinted glass on the driver's door, and there lies one of the round A/C vents from the big MB SUV.

In addition, the rims are just like the Jag XK "Senta" rims.

Autoegr,

Strong words comming from a man who wrote a message that we cannot really even distinguish the intended recipient.

It could be me, it could be S4. In either case it cosists of useless drivell and contributes nothing.

At a really close look at the front [headlights]... it looks like a Lexus GX SUV... But I soon realized it was so Mercedes Benz

Is it? Gee, I thought it was a modified Mercedes-Benz GL... how silly of me.

I like it. it has classy detailing, and the front bumper is well executed. This car has a strange appeal.

Its a random car made to test the water for adding nauticle themes to cars. I like the wood every where but the hood.

It may be ugly but it makes more sense than the R class

It's the GL base with Ridgeline-esque rear and some Brabus slapped on. I think it looks nice and very unique. The price must be hefty and their target consumers are the roller types? give me a break. No roller type will buy this LUV. I "LUV" it but didn't say i would buy one.

The Front 3/4-ths is a GL and it looks good. It doesn't look gaudy like some other luxury aftermarket firms would've done. I think the GL is wider than the Ridgeline so that back 1/4-ths chop was taken from somewhere else.

It's nice. Let's see more concepts from EDAG like this.

Finally! Something made to carry garden supplies to my villa in Monaco.
First, get rid of that tacky wood on top of the hood.
Donald Trump would love one.
